THE SHOALS SISTERS

Soon after high school, the Shoals Sisters--Cindy Walker and Marie Lewey--began as demo and backing vocalists in The Muscle Shoals music scene. Soon, they were first calls for major sessions covering many genres of music. Their vocal blend is synergistic and delivery of phrasing, intuitive. As songwriters, they bring creative ideas to the arrangements. Their career has spanned over 40 years, recording with top artists which include: Alicia Keys, Michael McDonald, Steven Tyler, Demi Lovato, Phish, Etta James, Candi Staton, Ronnie Milsap, Patti Austin, Percy Sledge; and many others.

Their LIVE PERFORMANCES with The Muscle Shoals All Stars include the Poretta Soul Festival, Italy; The Lincoln Center/Out of Doors Series; Vancouver Island Music Fest

As members of the Alabama Music Hall of Fame Stage Band they have performed with The Commodores, Tommy Shaw of Styx, Glen Frey (Eagles), Jamey Johnson, Martha Reeves, Percy Sledge, and Chuck Leavell (Rolling Stones), to name a few.
