PETER LEVIN
Peter Levin is a 5x Grammy-nominated writer, producer, and keyboardist known for his soulful feel, versatility, and ability to elevate any session. He has toured and recorded with artists like Gregg Allman, Amanda Shires, Aaron Neville, Ringo Starr, Marcus King, The Highwomen, Blind Boys of Alabama, and Dolly Parton.
A graduate of the Eastman School of Music, Levin built his career across genres, from early work with Public Enemy and Beastie Boys to sessions with artists like Train and Korn. His deep immersion in gospel music with the Blind Boys led to a mastery of the Hammond B3 and a pivotal role in Gregg Allman’s band, where he had the honor of serving as second keyboardist alongside Gregg himself and earned high praise as “a hell of a Hammond player.”
Beyond performing, Levin is an accomplished songwriter and producer, with credits including Grammy-nominated work for the Blind Boys and collaborations with The Highwomen and Marcus King. Now based in Nashville, he remains a first-call player and collaborator, continuing to bridge genres while carrying forward the tradition of American roots music.
