THE FAMILY

The Family is exactly what the name implies, a band built on blood, legacy, and the unmistakable spirit of Muscle Shoals. Featuring James LeBlanc, Angela Hacker, Dylan LeBlanc, and Bay Simpson, the group brings together two generations of deeply rooted musical talent.

At the center are James and Angela, a husband-and-wife duo whose careers helped shape the modern Southern sound. James is an award-winning songwriter behind major hits like Modern Day Bonnie and Clyde recorded by Travis Tritt, Relentless by Jason Aldean, and Learning How to Bend by Gary Allan. Angela first captured a national audience as the winner of Nashville Star, establishing herself as one of the most powerful vocalists to come out of the region.

Their sons carry that legacy forward in their own way. Bay Simpson recently stepped into the national spotlight as a contestant on The Voice, earning a spot on Adam Levine’s team and advancing through multiple rounds. Dylan LeBlanc, James’ son, is an acclaimed songwriter and artist in his own right, with four albums that have earned critical praise for their depth, tone, and unmistakable sense of place.

What makes The Family special isn’t just their shared DNA, it’s the natural chemistry that comes from a lifetime of music, stories, and stages together. Their sound moves effortlessly between southern soul, Americana, and rock, grounded in authenticity and elevated by harmonies only a real family can deliver.

In a town known for making history, The Family feels like the next chapter, a living continuation of the Muscle Shoals tradition where music isn’t just played, it’s passed down.
